Stephen Colbert Helps Raise Millions

Late Show host Stephen Colbert helped raise nearly $2.5 million for World Central Kitchen, supporting humanitarian food relief efforts during crises, disasters and emergencies worldwide.

Television host Stephen Colbert has helped raise nearly $2.5 million for World Central Kitchen, the global food relief organisation founded by celebrity chef José Andrés.

The fundraising total, revealed during Colbert’s Late Show campaign, reached an impressive $2,497,404.15, with viewers and supporters contributing toward humanitarian food assistance for communities affected by conflict, disasters and humanitarian emergencies.

World Central Kitchen has become internationally recognised for its rapid-response model, providing freshly prepared meals to people impacted by earthquakes, floods, wars and climate-related disasters across multiple countries.

Founded by José Andrés, the organisation works on the frontline of humanitarian crises, partnering with local chefs, restaurants and volunteers to deliver meals quickly and efficiently where support is needed most.

The fundraising effort highlights the growing role that entertainment platforms and public figures can play in mobilising global audiences around humanitarian causes and food security challenges.

The campaign also reflects increasing public support for organisations focused on immediate community relief, dignity-driven aid and practical impact during times of crisis.
