#TeamSibaya helps pack food parcels for Rise Against Hunger on Mandela Day

Yesterday, corporates within KwaZulu-Natal joined forces to make a bigger impact for Mandela Day and for those in need.

Sibaya Casino linked up with Rise Against Hunger Africa at Reddam House Umhlanga and helped pack nutritious meals that will be distributed to Early Childhood Development centres that the NGO supports.

Collectively, 91 800 food parcels were made by all the volunteers who participated on the day.

“Sibaya was only too happy to volunteer and add extra hands on Mandela Day and play our part in 67 minutes of kindness, which will go a long way to those in need because after all, It Starts With a Meal as per Rise Against Hunger’s theme for 2022,” said Karen Hammond Sibaya’s HR Manager and #TeamSibaya leader.
