New tracksuits and school bags Loeriesfontein High School Learners

Learners in grades 8 to 12 at Loeriesfontein High School were excited to receive a donation of new tracksuits and school bags, sponsored by Loeriesfontein and Khobab Wind Farms.

“We are proud to have been able to provide learners with these essential goods and to see the joy on their faces. The tracksuits assisted in keeping learners warm during the cold winter months, whilst the bags protected their books from the elements, factors that contribute toward higher motivation and possibly improved academic performance,” said Vanessa Fredericks, Economic Development Manager for Khobab and Loeriesfontein Wind Farms.

The donation included 34 tracksuits and 30 school bags and forms part of the two wind farms’ Socio-Economic Development Programme, which has a strong focus on education.
