Good+Foundation receives funding from Bank of America

The Good+Foundation is proud to announce a $200,000 commitment from Bank of America to provide support and relief to families that continue to be affected by COVID-19. This generous financial donation will allow the organization to provide health and safety kits to grantee partners across all five boroughs. These kits will include items like thermometers, baby health and hygiene products, wipes, formula, and masks. Bank of America will match all donations to Good+Foundation 2:1, up to $100,000, from March 15 to April 15.

In 2020, Bank of America donated $300,000 to Good+Foundation to distribute 2 million diapers to families in New York City.

“Bank of America is proud to continue our COVID-19 response efforts with another donation to Good+Foundation,” said Connie Verducci, New York City Market Executive & SVP, Bank of America and Good+Foundation Board Member. “These safety kits will provide underserved parents in NYC with resources to help raise healthy babies and children through this health crisis and beyond.”

Last year, Good+Foundation distributed more than $11 million in basic essentials and critical goods and $265,000 in emergency cash grants that families used for rent assistance, utilities, food, and other necessities.

“This donation from Bank of America comes at a critical time,” said Jessica Seinfeld, Good+ Founder and Chair of the Board of Directors. “New York families continue to struggle from the effects that the pandemic has had on housing, employment, education, and access to services. As we innovate to find solutions for Good+ parents, we are grateful to Bank of America for their long standing support of our work.”

Bank of America has been a funder of Good+Foundation since 2008. In addition to providing financial support, the bank has been a key source of volunteer support for the organization, donating 368 hours of time in 2019 alone.
