Organic & Natural Products Expo Africa will return to the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 17–19 April 2026, featuring an expanded programme of expert speakers focused on innovation, sustainability and business growth in the natural products sector.
With Standard Bank confirmed as headline sponsor, the event brings together leaders from retail, agribusiness, wellness, finance and government to share practical insights aimed at helping businesses grow locally and internationally.
According to Deenash Pillay, Head of Small Business Segments for Business and Commercial Banking at Standard Bank, the sector holds significant potential to drive sustainable economic development across Africa.
Business growth and export insights
The programme opens with financial health guidance for entrepreneurs, followed by sessions exploring artificial intelligence tools for small businesses and insights into changing consumer behaviour. Industry specialists will also share practical advice on retail trends, export readiness and funding opportunities.
Experts from organisations including Wesgro, the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (DTIC) and the Small Enterprise Development and Finance Agency (SEDFA) will provide guidance on accessing international markets and expanding African natural product brands globally.
Innovation in wellness and sustainability
Later sessions focus on emerging wellness trends, natural health solutions and sustainable materials, reflecting growing global demand for ethical and environmentally responsible products. Presentations will explore topics such as botanical supply chains, skincare innovation and sustainable building materials.
Warren Hickinbotham, co-founder of the expo, said the 2026 programme reflects the sector’s increasing maturity and global relevance.
“From government trade bodies to AI innovators and wellness practitioners, the range of expertise on our stage demonstrates how rapidly this industry is evolving,” he said.
