South African flag lights up Burj Khalifa in Dubai

Yesterday South Africans celebrated Freedom Day at the comfort of their homes due to the restrictions of Covid-19. To uplift the spirit of the country during the national lockdown, Burj Khalifa shared its commemoration of the public holiday by showcasing a beautiful sight from across the globe. warmed our hearts.

One of the tallest buildings in the world, Burj Khalifa in Dubai was lit up in the colours of the South African flag in celebration of Freedom Day. With everything going on, seeing our national flag light up a building with a total height of 829.8 metres warmed our hearts.
