Educo Solutions provides free, quality, NQF and SETA accredited education to unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 29, directly addressing our country’s educational needs by giving young people the opportunity to learn, grow and become employable. On completion of the 12-month courses that focus on relevant skills like end-user computing and business communications, graduates will find themselves in an ideal position to enter the local job market. The company also offers part-time work to dedicated students who are excelling in class, giving them the opportunity to earn a subsidiary income.
Educo has already made a mark with its two learning centres in Soweto, one in Protea Point Shopping Centre and one in Diepkloof Square, and is now excited to announce that its centre in Alexandra Plaza is moving to Alex Mall, making it more easily accessible to community members. An additional ten sites will be rolling out in similar communities over the next eight months.
“I encourage the youth of Alexandra to come and register at our new learning center in Alex Mall,” urges Ayanda Mkhwanazi, Educo Solutions Head of Academics. “This is an incredible opportunity for them to gain the necessary skills to become employable, and ultimately enjoy a better future.”
Educo Solutions is committed to enabling and empowering Mzansi’s youth, and honouring the words of our former president, Nelson Mandela, who famously said: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. The power of education extends beyond the development of skills we need for economic success. It can contribute to nation-building and reconciliation.”
Registration for classes begins from Monday the 24th of June, from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday at Alex Mall. Classes will start on Monday the 1st of July, with registrations continuing throughout the month of July.
