DJ Sbu’s continues to inspire young people in South Africa

Sbusiso Leope is a South African DJ, Author of The Art of Hustling Entrepreneur, born in Ekurhuleni situated in the East Rand. Leope has always been passionate about education and was fascinated by the media industry, specifically the radio industry. He studied Sound Engineering at African Media University and progressed to electrical engineering at Technikon Witwatersrand. His broadcasting career began in 1998 while doing some voluntary work as a producer and a presenter on a community radio station, Tembisa Info Radio. Over the years, he has worked for numerous commercial radio stations which inspired him to launch his own radio station, Massive Metro.

He established Sbusiso Leope Education Foundation in 2006 to help develop the lives and careers of disadvantaged learners. The foundation focuses on education and has consistently worked with the private sector, government & society at large to assist matric students with access to tertiary education. The foundation also provides motivational school talks and participates in programmes on a consistent basis providing support to young South Africans on their educational objectives and direction 

His latest initiative featured @Laukiie who had outstanding varsity fees pending her graduation in April 2020. The media personality pledged to help her raise the outstanding fees by selling Mofaya. Mofaya is a South African energy drink also established by DJ Sbu.
