Two volunteers from Young Woman Group took their time off and spent the day at the school to ensure that the learners were empowered”, Molise added.

Emmanuel Shumba from the City of Joburg, Jabulani Mall Fire Station delivered an empowering speech on safety measures, procedures and what to do in case of an emergency. A representative from the teddy bear foundation was also present and spoke about the programs that they are offering at schools which address child abuse.
