Pupils who go to Amavenya Primary School situated KZN are ready for their first day at school, thanks to Revolution Motorcycle Club. In partnership with Bata Shoes, the club and the Nelson Mandela Community Youth Centre saw 363 girls and boys from Amavenya Primary School receiving brand new shoes. On the day of the donation, the children were also were treated to a sumptuous meal.

Getting primary school children to walk to school with pride and comfort is something that the Revolution Motorcycle Club of Chatsworth feels truly proud of. “There was loud music, dancing and many smiling faces as Revolution rolled into the Amavenya Primary with hot meals and boxes of shoes,” said Clive Pillay, the president of the club.

He shared that they have been supporting this school for many years with school shoes, food hampers and meals.“It brings great delight and happiness to the bikers every time they visit to donate school shoes noting from the grand reception and appreciation shown by the community. We are also very appreciative to Bata Shoes for their wonderful partnership over the years in allowing us to identify schools that need shoes. Many of these children go to school with broken shoes or no shoes at all. This donation of shoes makes them go to school with pride,” concluded Pillay.
