Foschini Extends Women’s Race Partnership

Foschini has extended its partnership with the Totalsports Women’s Race for another three years, strengthening support for South Africa’s largest Women’s Month running celebration.

The renewed partnership, announced by Stillwater Sports, will begin in 2026 and see Foschini continue as an official partner of the iconic event series in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to empowering women through health, wellbeing, confidence and meaningful experiences that extend beyond race day.

Organisers say the partnership has become an important part of the overall participant experience, with Foschini products included in race packs and activations that celebrate women throughout Women’s Month.

“Foschini has become an integral part of the Totalsports Women’s Race family, and we are proud to welcome them back as an official partner for another three years,” said Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports.

“Their passion for empowering women and creating meaningful connections has added tremendous value to the event experience. The beauty products included in the 2025 race packs were exceptionally well received by entrants, and we’re excited to confirm that participants can look forward to even more exciting Foschini products in their race packs in the years ahead.”

For Foschini, the partnership aligns with the retailer’s broader focus on celebrating women through fashion, lifestyle, wellness and experiences that inspire confidence.

“As Foschini, we are passionate about celebrating women and showing up for them in ways that are authentic, inspiring and meaningful,” said Reneé New, Head of Marketing at Foschini.

“The Totalsports Women’s Race embodies these values, creating a space where women can connect, move, celebrate and support one another. We are incredibly proud to extend our partnership for another three years.”

The Totalsports Women’s Race has grown into more than a road running event. Each year, thousands of women participate in the race to celebrate health, friendship and female empowerment while raising awareness for causes affecting women across South Africa.

Nikki Crous, Head of Marketing at Totalsports, said the event continues to focus on creating memorable experiences that leave participants feeling inspired long after crossing the finish line.

“The Totalsports Women’s Race is about so much more than crossing a finish line – it’s about celebrating women, fostering connection and creating an experience that leaves participants feeling inspired and empowered.”

The 2026 race series will begin in Durban on 2 August, followed by Cape Town on 9 August and Johannesburg on 16 August.

Cape Town and Johannesburg entries have already sold out, highlighting the continued popularity of the event, while Durban entries remain open until capacity is reached.

Adding to the celebration, South African music star Busiswa will perform live at all three race events, creating an energetic festival atmosphere for participants and supporters.

Beyond fitness, the Totalsports Women’s Race continues to support PinkDrive, the non-profit organisation dedicated to breast cancer awareness, education and free screening services for medically uninsured South Africans.

By combining sport, entertainment, wellness and social impact, the partnership between Foschini and the Totalsports Women’s Race continues to create opportunities for women to connect, celebrate achievement and contribute to a cause that supports women’s health across South Africa.
