Pink Power Star Awards sets the stage for influential women

Pink Power, a women empowerment platform will host the inaugural Pink Power Star Awards on Friday, 22 November  2019 at Chartwell Castle in Fourways. The nominees will be competing for one of the four awards:

  • Pink Power Team player
  • Pink Power Leader
  • Pink Power Goal-driven
  • Pink Power Achiever

The Pink Power Star Awards are not limited to any particular field and categories are aimed at acknowledging the softer skills women possess and are often taken for granted.

Launched in 2017, Pink Power is about bringing together women to build a community of supporting, collaboration, recognising and celebrating one another and the nominees reflect the Pink Power values. Each nominee is prominent in their communities.

“After announcing the call for nominations for the Pink Power Star Awards, the response was incredible and overwhelming, which shows that we need such platforms to showcase the contribution and role women play in society. We look forward to hosting and celebrating the amazing women and ending 2019 on a high note , says Tumi Mkhondo, Co-founder of Pink Power.

To inspire the women on the night, Miss SA 2010 and Businesswoman, Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala will deliver a keynote address. Bokang will be joined by award-winning Life and Business Coach, Penny Holburn and Image and Style Strategist, Janine Starkey of Tweak ‘n Style.

To show support and celebrate with the Pink Power Stars at the awards ceremony, tickets are available on www.quicket.co.za
