South Africa has so much talent which is unrecognized and in some instances, it’s due to the lack of the right platforms. To close this gap, TurnUp Music has launched a mentorship programme and one of the artists giving back is Unathi. The Artists Unite Mentorship Programme was started to give creatives the space to harness that energy and share their voices.
TurnUp Music focuses on local talent and hosts content from various South African superstars like Mi Casa, Euphonik, Emtee and Vusi Nova. It is also the home to undiscovered artists keen to make their music available to the large South African audience connecting to the internet via their mobile phones.

Thabiet Allie, CEO of TurnUp said artists like Unathi have really stepped up to help artists during these challenging times. “I do work that pays it forward for different organisations and in my personal capacity,” said Unathi. The Idols SA judge also works with The Nelson Mandela Foundation and House of Mandela.
