Football is set to return in South Africa. On Saturday, 25 July 2020, some of Mzansi’s most influential footballing personalities, including Reneilwe Letsholonyane and Simba Marumo, will give fans insight into the future of football and the much-anticipated final stages of the Nedbank Cup. They will join other football industry experts as a part of Nedbank’s Football and Finance Summit, which will be broadcast on SABC 1 at 14:00.
Panellists will discuss their experience during the national lockdown and share knowledge with footballers and fans on how they can navigate the financial challenges posed by the current global climate. They will also share their insights on how the sporting side of football has been affected and offer solutions.
Started in 2019, the Nedbank Football and Finance Summit was launched as a thought-leadership and knowledge-sharing platform to discuss various topics on football and finance, together with the Nedbank Cup, South Africa’s premier club football knockout tournament.
