Windmill gives children a sporting chance

Windmill Casino has sponsored equipment for Devils Boxing Club in Bochabela in Bloemfontein to the value of R38 572 to help more children grow and develop through the sport of boxing.

Devils Boxing Club is a development club that has been running for five years. They are a registered NGO that is passionate about boxing. Windmill has sponsored 10 boxing gloves, five speed balls, four SNT boxing bags, headgear, mouthguards, chest protectors, skipping ropes, sparring gloves, dumbbells and punch bags.

“Supporting sports gives children an outlet to expend their energy, it focuses their minds and helps them learn to control their emotions, channelling negative feelings in a positive way. Windmill hopes this donation helps Devils Boxing Club to achieve their goals with regards to development of youngsters in the area,” said Windmill General Manager, Johan Oosthuizen.
