Kellogg Tolaram PTY LTD formally inaugurates their Kellogg’s Noodles factory at Matsapha Industrial Site in the Kingdom of Eswatini. This event was graced by His Majesty The King Mswati III, The Right Honourable Prime Minister and Cabinet Ministers, Government dignitaries, diplomats and members of the business community on the 13th of May 2022.
Kellogg Tolaram entered into a partnership with the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini in 2019 that saw the investment undertaking by Kellogg Tolaram to invest in production capability and working capital towards the manufacturing of Kellogg Instant Noodles production facility.
Kellogg and Tolaram Nigeria Ltd entered into a joint venture in 2015 for under $1Billion enabling entry into new categories for Kellogg globally. This investment in the Kingdom of Eswatini, will allow the company to have better market access and accelerate noodles market penetration into the Africa continent as the Kingdom of Eswatini, is a member COMESA, SADC, SACU and the African Continental Free Trade Area. The Kellogg Tolaram JV also has noodles manufacturing capability in Egypt.

The project’s benefits go beyond the commercial agenda, the development of local suppliers and enterprises, skills and capabilities development as well as improvements in the community,” said Gerald Mahinda, Managing Director, Sub Saharan Africa, Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.”
The Kellogg Tolaram Factory supports the Kingdom of Eswatini economic growth imperatives and since production started in February 2021, 221 emaSwati were employed in various roles.The company expresses its gratitude to His Majesty’s Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini, for the tremendous support and enabling this milestone.
