Blue Ribbon partners with the Amy Foundation to raise funds for Youth in SA

Bread is a simple part of our daily routine, for kids’ lunches, for a family ‘roosterbrood’ on the fire or just quick toasties for breakfast – the list goes on. Now, you can enjoy your daily sandwich knowing you are changing the lives of South African Youths through the Amy Foundation. Premier FMCG and Blue Ribbon have selected The Amy Foundation to receive a certain percentage for every classic Blue Ribbon white or brown loaf of bread sold at participating Pick ‘n Pay stores throughout the month of August.

For just buying a loaf of bread, you are helping us keep a Youth off the streets and in our programmes by learning new workplace skills. Our goal is to ensure this initiative move toward raising R60k during the month of August for every 700g Blue Ribbon Classic White or Classic Brown loaf bought at participating Western Cape Pick ‘n Pay. Premier FMG has been committed to providing Blue Ribbon bread that can be shared with family and friends for every moment.

The Amy Foundation is afforded the opportunity to work with Blue Ribbon through the month of August to offer wholesome bread for a good cause. “What’s more is that while it is women’s month, we can reflect on the strong women of our country and those who have made a considerable effort toward a diverse yet unified South Africa on all fronts such as Amy Biehl,” says Michelle Bagley, Fundraiser manager.

She continues, “It’s the unsung heroes who are the women who have made many sacrifices for their families, like you and I, holding households together and adding that extra wink when our kids find wholesome sarmies for packed lunches.” Even packed lunches for your kids can change the life of an individual in SA.

Show your support and buy your favourite classic loaves of bread at any of the 122 Pick ‘n Pay stores today!
