91 000 Sarmies for the Vulnerable

Danny Diliberto of Ladles of Love and Mary-Anne Musekiwa of Coronation do their part for a good cause at the annual Ladles of Love Sarmiethon, on World Sandwich Day, at Maker’s Landing at the V&A Waterfront yesterday. Several teams came together to smash the NPO’s previous record by making 100 000 sandwiches for families in need. The sandwiches were sponsored by donations from the public and businesses, and donations will go towards hunger relief in Cape Town and Joburg, not only with sandwiches, but with hot meals as well.
