FrontierCo – Destinations by Frasers – Local Luggage Retailer donates to Breast Cancer Awareness charity

Leading specialist retailer of quality branded luggage and leather goods, Destinations by Frasers, part of FrontierCo, has announced its donation of a percentage of all sales on Busby leather products during the month of October to its Breast Cancer Awareness month charity partner, PinkDrive, in support of its national Breast Cancer testing and education campaign.

PinkDrive, the country’s leading Breast Cancer Community NGO, was founded in 2009 by Ms. Noelene Kotschan, on the premise that “Early detection will help to prolong a life.” and has been in operation for 13 years.

 

The donation which was raised via sales across all 31 Destinations by Frasers and Destinations Outdoor and Travel stores nationwide, including Gauteng, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Pretoria, will cover the cost of approximately 75 Mammograms via PinkDrive’s mobile Mammography Unit, which provides women living in under-resourced communities with free access to this healthcare service.

 

Destinations by Frasers, is proud to partner with PinkDrive in support of its’ education and early detection campaign. Bernard Mostert, CEO of FrontierCO comments, “We chose PinkDrive as a strategic CSI beneficiary partner for Breast Cancer Awareness month because we want to raise awareness of this important programme that makes testing and treatment of breast cancer, and other gender cancers, more accessible in communities where health care services are lacking.
