Eaton supports Pietermaritzburg SPCA with electrical equipment donation

KwaZulu-Natal’s Pietermaritzburg SPCA recently received electrical equipment valued at R61 000 donation from Eaton Electrical to help the animals in need receive the care and rehabilitation they deserve.

This donation has enabled the SPCA, the only private law enforcement animal protection service worldwide, to be available to the community and online 24 hours a day. Equipment donated included three Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) systems that will enable essential services to run while inspecting injured animals and provide accessibility to critical machinery such as computers and telephone systems for the local community to use.

“The donation will be a turning point in helping us better manage our facility. We appreciate Eaton’s support in assisting us to further our mission of protecting more animals in need” says Roland Fivaz, manager at the Pietermaritzburg SPCA.

Eaton’s electrical business is a global leader in power distribution, power quality, control and automation, and monitoring products and services.
