On Saturday, 7 September Ayepyep Lifestyle held its 2nd Annual Charity Golf Day at the Pretoria
Country Club where participants gathered to play a round of golf, network and challenge the social-economic issues facing communities in which it operates.
The purpose of the Golf Day event was to raise a substantial amount of money for the Kingdom of Life Children Centre and Leamogetswe Safety Home in Atteridgeville, Pretoria. The homes accommodate children from the age of 1 to 21 years.
Ayepyep Lifestyle is aware of the social-economic factors faced by many South Africans on a
daily basis, thus taking an initiative to make a difference in society has been one of their biggest priority. This year, the company focused solely on children development as it contributes positively in changing social challenges for a better tomorrow.
“As our brand grows, we would like to contribute to as many people as we can to join in the fight against social challenges not only in the Pretoria region, but to as far as we can stretch. Our aim is to contribute positively in society through programmes such as employment creation, children development and the fight against drug abuse”, said the Ayepyep Lifestyle Management team.
The event was attended by some of South Africa’s favourite talents, Jimmy Tau, Dj Milkshake,
Dj Malwela, Lerato Kganyago and the first young black woman to qualify for the PGA Tour in
Southern Africa, Bella Modisha.
This year, the Annual Golf Day was successful in raising R120 000 for each of the identified homes with the help of various sponsors and loyal clients. The amount raised will assist the homes with renovations and day-to-day operations of their facilities.
