Anglo American donate audiobooks for Nelson Mandela Day

To celebrate Nelson Mandela Day on what would have been his 100th birthday, Anglo American has donated audiobooks to the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital as well as the Johannesburg School for the Blind.

The company also donated reading books to learners at schools across South Africa as part of its ongoing investment in education. The donations follow the company’s recent launch of their education programme, in partnership with the Department of Basic Education (DBE), to improve outcomes for learners in 100 early childhood development sites and 100 primary and secondary schools near its mining operations.
