Aimed at assisting female entrepreneurs in the transport sector to identify business opportunities amidst disruptions and challenges in the transport sector, the annual Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) Women Empowerment Summit brings you three virtual, right in time for transport month.
The summit will also offer the women a platform to network and ” Further, the event highlights relevant broad-based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) opportunities and provides entrepreneurs with industry-related insights and trends, as well as the relevant business advice to succeed,” noted Maphefo Anno-Frempong, TETA CEO.
The three virtual summit events will be broadcasted from 9am to 12:00, with the first event on 21 October 2020 aimed at entrepreneurs in Gauteng, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The second event will be hosted on 23 October 2020 for the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Western Cape regions and the final event on 26 October 2020 for the North West, Northern Cape and Free State regions.
Topics to be discussed include:
How human factors and ergonomics improve safety and efficiency in transport sector operations;
Using seta opportunities to grow businesses;
How to access private and public sector business funding opportunities; and
How to take a transport sector business from a to z.
