Pink Power launches to nurture a culture of celebrating women

Pink Power, a women empowerment platform launches in South Africa to  nurture a culture of celebrating women. The launch event under theme: Recognise, Inspire, Revive and Energise will take place  on the 02 August 2018 at Emoyeni in Johannesburg.

Pink Power, a brainchild of female entrepreneurs, Tumi Mkhondo and Tumi Makhu, is aimed at  encouraging women to support, connect and be inspired by stories of fellow South African women in a fun-filled scenery of amazing speakers, exhibitors and great entertainment.

“The issue of gender equality is slowly progressing but it will take more than women’s month to highlight all challenges women face on a daily basis in society. Every women’s journey is unique and relatable, and Pink Power provides a platform for all women to share successes and challenges while celebrating being a woman,” says the founders.

Speakers at the event include Jo-Ann de Wet – Chief Operations and Supply Chain Officer for McDonald’s SA, Dudu Msomi – CEO of Busara Leadership Partners, Vika Shipalana – Founder and CEO of VBS Luxury Group and Dr Sujata Garach of Sujata Garach.
