Peermont invests in local entrepreneur’s business growth

Peermont’s flagship resort Emperors Palace Hotels Casino Conventions and Entertainment Resort has invested R424, 000 in the enterprise development of Intercessor Army Franchising, known as IAF Brands, a Tembisa-based business that is poised for growth. This sum completes the funding the company needed to buy a 1625mm sublimation printer with soft inks and accessories as part of its growth strategy, with owner Bulelani Balabala having already raised the remaining R178,000.

Balabala founded the printing company in 2006, offering print, online and brand development services. It employs 12 permanent staff and five part-time workers, and counts Ekurhuleni Metro, Lenova, Touch HD, and Mofoya Beverages among others.

“Being able to purchase this printer means that I can offer even better service and a wider range of products to my customers,” Balabala says. “I am also hoping to grow the number of people I employ, as demand grows for these new products.”

Passionate about entrepreneurship, Balabala founded Township Entrepreneurs Alliance, and is a professional speaker on topics such as brand development and entrepreneurship.
