Digify Africa is excited to announce the launch of Digify Pro Online-a self-paced online digital skills programme that will empower youth across Africa
Digify Africa is a youth-led organisation committed to alleviating youth unemployment and promoting youth participation in the digital economy through impact driven digital education training interventions. Launched in 2011, the organisation has become one of Africa’s leading digital education providers, leveraging e-Learning and WhatsApp bot technologies to tackle the digital divide.
The organisation is now introducing Digify Pro Online, a free learning opportunity that will enable young people to access quality digital education. Digify Pro Online is part of the organisation’s initiative to train one million youth by 2024.
Digify Pro Online will offer demand driven skills such as Digital Marketing, Social Media, Digital Strategy, Introduction to Content Strategy, Paid Advertising, Data led Decision Making, Introduction to e-commerce, and Web Design with WordPress and Digital Entrepreneurship. The course targets youth aged 18-30 years, and is ideal for those with limited higher learning opportunities and the unemployed looking to gain a skill set and increase employability. What’s unique about Digify Pro Online is the self-paced learning model which has become the preferred way of learning for young people.

Digify Pro will offer an interactive learning journey, complete with live briefs allowing students to test their knowledge and gain practical experience. What’s more, students who complete the curriculum receive the Google Certification in Fundamentals of Digital Marketing. Once they’ve completed the curriculum they will get assistance with finding employment and freelance opportunities through its placement programme.
Programmes like Digify Pro Online have proven effective in creating employment pathways to high value careers and promoting entrepreneurial activity. Remote learning has grown in popularity as a learning medium for many who cannot access traditional institutions. With the tools participants will gain from this course they will be inspired to leverage opportunities in the digital industry.
