Free webinar provides right answers for Maths teachers

Leaners across the country are relying on their teachers to pass the grade, however, teachers also need to be supported hence online study guide, Answer Series is inviting teachers to attend their first free Maths webinar.

Since 1975, The Answer Series has been empowering high school learners’ exam success with our comprehensive, easy to use study guides. The study guides are practical and versatile and can be used independently by learners, or by teachers in the classroom.

Written and frequently updated by teachers, examiners and subject specialists, each of The Answer Series study guides includes stimulating exercises and easy-to-understand explanatory notes. The analysis shows that level 3 and 4 questions are very poorly answered, and since these count, for 45% of the assessment, this has a negative impact on the pass-rate for Mathematics.

The webinar will be presented in English and Afrikaans and is based on research carried out by Anne Eadie into level 3 and 4 questions, in particular, through the annual NSC examiners’ diagnostic reports on the matric exam and her 45 years’ experience as a Maths author.

Registration closes on 11 September so make sure to book your place early by visiting: https://www.theanswer.co.za/
