The coronavirus now known as the COVID 19, has attacked the entire world but surprisingly spared the children. South African cases have increased with the disease and this has made children aware of the virus.
Children have known of the virus through the social media and what they have been taught in schools. However, Dean Mc Coubrey, Founder of MySocialLife has encouraged parents to know of the sources that their children get information from. Coubrey says the media can be very harmful to children as information is not surfed. Fake news can be posted by anyone and this may harm the children.
Children have been pschologically affected by this pandemic virus such that they tease or insult each other with the virus. These children have also refused to go to school with the fear of catching the virus. However, some children have also been making jokes about the virus and have not taken to account how dangerous the virus is. This may be because of the less knowledge they have about the disease.
Less than 0.9% of children have been diagonised with the virus making them safer than the adults. Children should however know that the virus can attack anyone at any given time.
