Baboon Strategic Management Plan for Cape Peninsula adopted and released to public

The Cape Peninsula Baboon Management Joint Task Team (CPBMJTT) consisting of representatives from South African National Parks (SANParks), CapeNature and the City of Cape Town is pleased to announce that Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, Ms Barbara Creecy, expressed her sincere appreciation for the extensive efforts of the CPBMJTT in the development and finalisation of the Cape Peninsula Baboon Strategic Management Plan (CPBSMP) and supports the content thereof. This follows the roundtable discussion hosted by the Minister on 7 June 2022. The CPBSMP is now available to the public. Residents and interested parties are encouraged to download and peruse the plan.
