20th of October 2022 was no ordinary day for Businesswomen in Rustenburg, it was a day that allowed
them an opportunity to meet with like-minded women as well as engaging with corporates that are always looking at ways to empower women in business.

The day started with guests arriving in style, all dressed up and adhering to the theme #ShowUpLikeABossYouAre. Actor and Entrepreneur Palesa Madisakwane took to the stage as the programme director of the day.

The event was graced with speakers touching on different topics, we had Boipelo Motlhagodi talking about Mental & Physical health, Ratanang Selomane from Absa Entreprise Development talking Money Matters, Angel Selebano from Zadna imparted some knowledge about the importance of online presence, Daisy Lepheane touched on the benefits of outsourcing Human Capital while Phenyo Matebesi emphasised on the importance of Oral health. Lastly, we had our Shero, a two times breast cancer survivor Phungi Baloyi talking about the importance of self-examination and how
early detection can save one’s life.

And of course, there were prize giveaways, one lucky guest walked away with a cash prize of R14 000 from Absa Enterprise Development to help with her business needs, Matebesi Dental also gave away a free consultation to another winner and their family, Marang Funeral Parlour gave away 6 months premiums for those who registered for their services on the day and Vaya Footwear gave away 3 pairs of sneakers to 3 lucky guests.

The day was sealed with a sip and paint session which allowed guests more time to network while being serenaded by the sweet sounds of LPS.There were smiles, laughter, dancing and absolute fun shared among guest, compliments and contacts were also exchanged.

“This was a wonderful experience with amazing women. A great platform for personal growth and business networking. I hope Matebesi Dental Services added some value with our Oral Health chat. Wishing everyone life, wealth and happiness,” Phenyo Matebesi from Matebesi Dental Services.
