Meet SA Harvest, SA’s fastest-growing food rescue organisation

You’re invited to join SA Harvest at the V&A Waterfront on Saturday, 6 November to find out more about how SA’a fastest-growing rescues food that would otherwise go to waste – saving the planet from harmful methane gases and delivering nutritious food to where it’s needed most. In two years, SA Harvest has delivered 11 million meals to food vulnerable communities across SA.

Snap a selfie, meet some celebs, bring the kids to learn about food waste and the environment and make a donation towards SA Harvest’s mission to end hunger in South Africa. There are fantastic prizes up from grabs from The Silo Hotel, DeLiefde Cottage, Spice Route, The Yard, Faithful to Nature, Signature Lux Hotel, Den Anker, the Cape Wheel, Wilson’s Olive Oil and more. Every donation or sign-up to SA Harvest’s #UnionAgainstHunger receives a R10 discount voucher from Vida e Caffe. It’s all happening in the upper outdoor restaurant area overlooking the harbour from 09h00 to 17h00 on Saturday, 6 November.
