Soft drinks range launches with kindness campaign

One of South Africa’s favourite water brands has extended its offering with a range of low kilojoule soft drinks, launched with a goodwill campaign encouraging kindness. aQuellĂ© recently announced the addition of the Khula soft drinks range based on its unique spring water from its natural source in Kwa-Zulu Natal. The name Khula, which means “to grow” in isiZulu, was inspired by the brand team’s growth and learnings over the past year.

Launching with the campaign “it’s Khula to share,” aQuellĂ© is inviting all South Africans to share stories of kindness and joy on its KHULAtoShare map. This online platform is designed to ignite a sense of optimism and uBuntu in people from all walks of life, with no act of kindness being too big or small to share. The map not only provides a meaningful way to share inspiring moments that people have witnessed in their communities, but also a way to feel uplifted by reading others’ stories.

With clever markers that pinpoint exactly where a story took place, one gets a sense of the overwhelming amount of kindness taking place in South Africa every day. See how you can pin your story to the map here.

The kindness doesn’t begin or end there. The company recently handed out water to people in Durban, Pietermaritzburg and other areas, who were participating in community clean-ups after the recent unrest in South Africa. Watch the video about how the company rallied to support the volunteers who put their hearts behind cleaning up these communities and kept people waiting in long queues to buy essentials refreshed with ice-cold bottles of Khula here.

The refreshing aQuellé Khula soft drinks come in four delicious flavours: Cola, Ginger Burst, Cream Soda and Raspberry, in both 500ml and 1.5L. This range of crisp, refreshing sparkling drinks is available from wholesalers and selected retailers across South Africa.

If you are not yet convinced that kindness is always cool, head over to https://www.aquelle.co.za/ and see for yourself. You may leave feeling a little warm and fuzzy inside. You can also follow the kindness on social media at @aQuelleKHULA or #KHULAtoShare for even more moments of kindness and joy.
