Swing for Literacy: CSX and Kodak Alaris Drive R1 Million Fundraiser for Tzaneen Library

CSX Customer Services (Pty) Ltd, in collaboration with Kodak Alaris, is hosting a Charity Golf Day with an ambitious goal: to raise R1 Million for a library in Tzaneen, Limpopo Province. All funds will be channelled through the Shout Foundation to realise this cause.

The sole objective of this charity golf event is to raise enough funds to donate a fully operational library in an underprivileged community, providing access to enriching resources crucial to children’s education and future advancement.

The Charity Golf Day is set for Thursday, 9 November 2023 at the prestigious Glenvista Country Club in Johannesburg South. The event includes a shotgun start followed by a celebrity dinner with an auction and prize-giving to contribute towards the fundraising efforts.

CSX firmly believes in the pivotal role of reading as a foundation for all learning. The library not only represents a beacon of hope for the community of Tzaneen but also underlines the impact of literacy on welfare, education, and the overall growth of society.

With over 50 years of experience in business solutions, including library security and RFID solutions, CSX has demonstrated a strong bond with the cause of education. This initiative further cements the company’s commitment to sharing knowledge and promoting literacy.

Working alongside the Shout Foundation, CSX’s mission aligns with Shout’s vision of enriching children’s lives through education. Shout works relentlessly to assure children can unlock their potential through access to quality books and learning resources.

CSX and Kodak Alaris extend a warm invitation to media personnel to witness this first-hand at the Charity Golf Day event and conduct interviews with representatives on the day. For more information or to schedule an interview, please contact Cassie Martins from CSX at +27 11 663 9300.

Let’s tee up for a brighter future with every swing. Your participation is a stroke towards literacy.
