FUTURELIFEĀ® Celebrates Grand Opening of Concept Store

FUTURELIFEĀ®, a leading health and wellness brand, held the grand opening of its revolutionary concept store at Oceans Mall in Umhlanga on Wednesday 28thĀ June. This first-of-its-kind retail experience redefines the way customers engage with health, offering unparalleled access to FUTURELIFEĀ® products, co-branded Adidas fitness apparel, a Smart cafĆ© and a range of innovative dietetic services designed to promote healthy living. As part of the celebration, FUTURELIFEĀ® also introduced the “Ride to Feed a Child in Need” initiative at Oceans Mall, a unique campaign, that will run until Sunday, Ā aimed at proving 10Ā 000 nutritional meals to children in need.

The event drew an excited crowd of over 30 influencers and local media, including the charismatic Carol Ofori, the host of East Coast radio’s weekday show, who also broadcasted live from the store. Guests witnessed the ceremonial ribbon cutting and were treated to an exclusive tour that allowed them to fully immerse themselves in the unique offerings of the store.

Attendees then enthusiastically hopped on a 10-seat stationary FUTURELIFEĀ® bike bar and collectively rode to provide nourishing meals to children in need. Influencer, Steph Smith, said that her favourite part of the day (aside the FUTURELIFEĀ® infused chocolate brownies) was the bike bar, ā€œI loved the fact that we could all make a difference as part of celebrating the opening of the store,ā€

According to Mark Bunn, FUTURELIFEĀ® Managing Director, FUTURELIFEĀ® has partnered with Dis-chem Foundation to address the critical issue of childhood hunger. ā€œThrough this partnership, FUTURELIFEĀ® commits to serving 2.4 million nutritional meals each year. To encourage public participation in this noble cause and help us celebrate the opening of our first store, we would like to invite all those in and around the greater Durban and Umhlanga area to join the celebration by visiting the FUTURELIFEĀ® store at the Oceans Mall this coming weekend. For every minute spent cycling on the FUTURELIFEĀ® bike bar, 12 children in need will receive a nourishing meal. The goal is to reach 10,000 meals by Sunday, 1stĀ July,ā€ he said.

He added that he is incredibly proud to be introducing this revolutionary store concept to the South African market. He emphasised the careful selection of Umhlanga as the location for their inaugural store, highlighting their deep-rooted connection to Kwa-Zulu Natal. He said, “We are not just a proudly South African brand; we are a proudly Kwa-Zulu Natal-based brand. Therefore, choosing to establish our first and flagship store here was an obvious choice for us. We will however be expanding our store reach across the country in the coming months,ā€ he concluded.
