67 minutes with Emperors Palace

Emperors Palace staff visited the Matthew Ukhozi Foundation in Reiger Park as part of a Mandela Day initiative arranged by the resort and casino’s human resources department. During the visit, the staff including the Palace of Dreams’ Complex Operations Executive, Clive Tavener of Modderfontein, handed out beanies, scarves, gloves and toys to the pre-schoolers that are taken care of by the foundation.

Pictured here with Tavener is Waydene Bridger one of the tiny recipients of the winter warmer gifts. In addition to the above the little ones were also treated to a magic show, had their faces painted by staff, enjoyed a delicious lunch, juice and snacks while prior to Mandela Day a team from the Palace of Dreams did extensive maintenance to the foundation’s interim premises. A donation of linen, books, videos and other toys were also made to Matthew Ukhozi by Emperors Palace.
