Airline to provide unlimited free Wi-Fi on all flights by 2025

In a groundbreaking move to revolutionize in-flight connectivity, Turkish Airlines, has announced its plan to offer free, unlimited, and uninterrupted Wi-Fi across its entire fleet. This ambitious initiative, set to commence by the end of 2025, underscores Turkish Airlines’ commitment to enhancing the passenger experience with cutting-edge technology.

Starting from late 2025, passengers on Turkish Airlines flights will enjoy unparalleled access to fast, free, and limitless Wi-Fi. This bold move involves retrofitting the existing fleet with the latest in-flight connectivity (IFC) technologies and equipping new aircraft with the most advanced systems available. By doing so, Turkish Airlines aims to extend its current IFC service, which is already available on most flights, to cover every single aircraft in its fleet.

Turkish Airlines is actively seeking collaboration with both local and international suppliers to ensure the highest quality IFC solutions. Notably, the airline has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TCI Aircraft Interiors, a certified aviation products provider, and Turksat, a leader in satellite technologies. This partnership highlights Turkish Airlines’ dedication to leveraging national expertise and supporting the growth of Turkish companies in the IFC sector.

With the integration of state-of-the-art IFC technologies, Turkish Airlines aims to cater to the digital needs of modern travellers, ensuring they stay connected and productive throughout their journey. The airline’s proactive approach involves comprehensive feasibility studies and close cooperation with key stakeholders to transform the MoU into a definitive agreement.

By pioneering free, unlimited in-flight Wi-Fi, Turkish Airlines is setting a new standard in global air travel, ensuring passengers enjoy a seamless and connected experience from take-off to landing.
