Our kitchen produce an average of 160 000 meals a month, but during the recent unrest we stepped up production to 229 000 plates of delicious food.”

The kitchen was launched 18 months ago, at the start of the Covid-19 Corona Virus pandemic hard lock and has so far served 2.8 million plates of food, all of which is plant-based.

“We are constantly looking for partnerships with companies like Sibaya Casino because there is an insatiable need. Food for Life Africa serves more than a million cooked vegetarian meals on a daily basis, with many branches in various parts of KwaZulu-Natal. If we can make our country a hunger free one, most of the lootings and other crime will stop” said Panday.
