Maape commits to creating jobs

During a special sitting held at the North West Provincial Legislature on Tuesday, Bushy Maape was elected the new Premier of North West Province. The Premier, Bushy Maape has promised not to disappoint the community of the North West during his reign.

Maape promised to prioritize service delivery and job creation in the next coming years. His administration will work day and night to fight corruption and to combat gender based violence. Maape made this commitment during his acceptance speech at the provincial legislature in Mahikeng where he was elected with 21 votes from African National Congress (ANC) members.

The newly elected North West premier said, “I make this promise that we as the collective will not disappoint you as the organization that has assigned us the responsibility and neither will we disappoint the people of the North West and we don’t have a long story or long narrative to tell you. We just want to talk about service delivery and job creation.”

Bushy Maape concluded: “We want to commit ourselves to fight poverty and inequality. We commit to combat gender based violence wherever it’s rears its stubborn and ugly head. Together we will form a strong battalion against corruption. Together we will move this province forward.”
