Ms Mvula commits her firm to save communities


Together with her firm the Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC), Senior Manager for Social and Economic Development, Dorcas Mvula has announced her commitment to help out the community.

The firm is dedicated to carrying out Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in the community where it operates.

While speaking at the commissioning ceremony of the Kanyikezhi Health Post in the Mwinilunga District in Northwestern Province, Ms Mvula confirmed that the firm is providing transport for health staff during their periodic health outreach sessions which are aimed at bringing health services closer to the people of Kanyikezhi.

Furthermore, Ms Mvula gave her word to the government that the CEC is working tirelessly to bring the Kabompo Greenfield Power Hydro project to its full scale capacity for the benefit of the host community and the country at large.

“We are optimistic that with the support from government that the project will reach full scale development for further benefit of the country and this community,” Ms Mvula said.

The CEC has been commended by Senior Chief Sailunga for doing a great job in their CSR role out, particularly in the health sector.
