As the Christmas spirit inches closer, the Hloni Modise Foundation will host a benefit concert to raise funds for the needy.The Hloni Modise Foundation Benefit Concert will be an exciting event with top notch performances from some of Mzansi’s finest gospel artists Dr Tumi, William Sejake and Bathabile Skhosana.
Held at the Joburg Theatre on 7 December 2021 at 6.30pm, it will be hosted by actress Ntombee Ngcobo Mzolo. Tickets are R200 at Webtickets.Some of the special performances on the night will be from the children from Sky Organisation, one of the beneficiaries of the fundraiser.
The Hloni Modise Foundation Benefit Concert aims to raise funds and collect items such as nappies, stationery, food parcels and more for the charity homes below:
Tshegofatsa Rona Community Welfare and Community Centre: A home in Kempton Park that takes care of 39 vulnerable and abused women and children. The children range from 0 to 17 years in age.
Refiloe Legae: A shack in Alexandra that takes care of 9 abandoned and disabled children.
Sky Organisation: A centre in Kliptown, Soweto that takes children off the streets and teaches them various skills through their arts and culture programmes.
Hloni Modise, the founder of the Hloni Modise Foundation comments: “Firstly, it is an incredible honour for us to be able to assist the owners of the three organisations. They do important work for our communities and they need all the support they can get. We have done our part for the organisations this year. We have been humbled by the outpouring of support from benevolent South Africans who contributed clothes, sanitary towels, nappies, and formula.”
