Hloni Modise, the founder of the Hloni Modise Foundation comments: “Firstly, it is an incredible honour for us to be able to assist the owners of the three organisations. They do important work for our communities and they need all the support they can get. We have done our part for the organisations this year. We have been humbled by the outpouring of support from benevolent South Africans who contributed clothes, sanitary towels, nappies, and formula.”

“As the year approaches the front porch and step of the Festive door, we also open our hearts to making a difference in our community with stunning performances in raising the much-needed funds. We are delighted to be part of the partnership that positively impacts the communities,” said Xoliswe Nduneni Ngema, Chief Executive Officer of Joburg City Theatres.

Mpumi Motsabi, Toys with Roots Co-Founder says: “Developing empathetic children who display a spirit of Ubuntu, begins with adults modelling such behaviour. We find our greatest fulfilment in knowing that we can plant seeds in these little people’s lives for a better society. We are running a campaign where people can purchase a toy from Toys with Roots towards the beneficiaries of the Hloni Modise Foundation.”
