Hotel Verde Cape Town Airport Hosts Unforgettable Christmas Party for Local Children in Collaboration with the Amy Foundation After School Programme

Hotel Verde Cape Town Airport spread joy and festive cheer as it hosted a special Christmas party for 100 children from the Amy Foundation and Saartjie Baartman Centre on Thursday 14th December 2023. The event was a memorable experience, filled with laughter, fun, and holiday spirit.

 

General Manager Caron van Rooyen expressed her enthusiasm for the celebration, stating, “As the General Manager at Hotel Verde Cape Town Airport, sustainability to me means more than just ensuring profitability and preserving the environment. It means also fostering the local community and ensuring that the children benefit from the success of our establishment.”

 

The Christmas party, which took place at the environmentally conscious Hotel Verde, featured a range of activities, including games, entertainment, a pamper session and a special visit from Father Christmas himself. Hotel Verde is committed to making a positive impact on the community and believes in giving back during the festive season.

 

In collaboration with the Amy Foundation After School Programme (ASP) , the event aimed to highlight the importance of education and community support. Communications Manager, Michelle Bagley explains, “ The ASP plays a vital role in providing educational and recreational activities for children, empowering them to reach their full potential. Amy Foundation is proud to partner with Hotel Verde to create a magical experience for these young minds.”

 

The 100 children from the Amy Foundation and Saartjie Baartman Centre had the opportunity to enjoy a day of festive delights, creating lasting memories in a safe and welcoming environment. The hotel staff is dedicated to ensuring that the children feel the warmth of the holiday season and experience the magic of Christmas.
