Higer bus supports Zambia with K1,5 million

Out of solidarity, the Higer Bus Zambia Limited has donated K1.5 million worth of assorted hygiene materials to the Esther Lungu Foundation Trust.

For a very long time, the Bus company has been rendering support to the government and other private entities taking care of vulnerable people in Zambia. The company believes in giving back to the society thus explaining the donations to several institutions.

Over the past years in Zambia, the private sector has been a key partner in delivering high quality health services to the general citizenry. The First Lady Esther Lungu has been since sending her gratitude to the Higer Bus Company for the support it has rendered to vulnerable Zambians.

While receiving the donations of assorted hygiene materials from the Higher Buses Zambia Limited at the state house, the First Lady explained the huge support to the health sector.

“It is not surprising therefore, to witness this donation today from Higer Bus Zambia Limited, who have joined hands with the Esther Lungu Foundation Trust to donate 100,000 pieces of Children’s face masks, 50 pieces forehead thermometers and 100 pieces school bags, all equivalent to a total value of K1.5 million which will definitely go a long way in the education enhancement of our learners in schools,” the first lady gladly stressed.

The Higer company correspondent stressed out the satisfaction with the role of Esther Lungu Foundation Trust in reaching out to the needy in society.
