Peermont Community Benefit Trust (PCBT) donates R30 000 to Brakpan centre

After hearing on Radio 702 of the financial plight of the Leth’ukhanya Care Centre, which cares for vulnerable, destitute and orphaned children on a plot in Kwatsaduza, near Brakpan, the Peermont Community Benefit Trust (PCBT), a CSI initiative of Emperors Palace, donated R30 000 to the centre on Friday, July 20.

Due to facing its worst financial challenges since its establishment in 2013 the facility, which can accommodate forty (40) children and four (4) full time live in caregivers, has recently been forced to remove some of the children due to a lack of resources.

Thanks to the Trust’s donation co-founder of the Care Centre and recent LeadSA Hero of the month award winner, Simphiwe Mnisi and her team can keep the facilities’ doors open for a little longer.
