Ahead of the official television debut, Brand South Africa’s annual Play Your Part Series recently won a Gold award at the Loeries for their non-English radio advert. The radio advert was created as part of the Play Your Part mandate to encourage active citizenship towards contributing to positive change in the country and raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving.
The Loeries are Africa’s and the Middle East’s premiere initiative that recognises, rewards, inspires and fosters creative excellence in the brand communication industry.

The Play Your Part television series is a 24-minute docu-reality series that offers an inspirational insight into the world of active citizens and volunteerism by profiling real South Africans doing extraordinary things to change people’s lives for the better across the country. Through research and a call to action, the show empowers viewers by giving them the opportunity to see how others are making a difference in their communities.
The docu-reality will officially air on SABC 2 from the 26 August 2017 at 18h00pm and will be hosted by Play Your Part ambassador Kabelo Mabalane.
